Scout Labs is how teams tune in to social media. It is the simplest, most intuitive way to measure and manage social media.

Listening is the job of many - not a few. It's not "the Research guy's job". It's not "PR's job". It's not "the Community Manager's job". Social Media is the voice of the customer and everyone should have access to it.

Scout Labs provides cutting-edge technology and a collaborative platform for listening to customers and engaging with them across the Internet. The web-based application is incredibly fast and powerful. But it's also incredibly easy to use and easy get started, which is why Scout Labs is the social media monitoring, measurement and management platform of choice for hundreds of customers.

Our customers use Scout Labs to:

  • Know when to tune in and what's most important to pay attention to
  • Hear what customers love and hate, want and wish, think and feel, all in real-time
  • Reach out to influential customers to build relationships
  • Engage in proactive customer service
  • Let the voice of the customer inspire new product and marketing ideas

Scout Labs has grown significantly since it was founded in 2006. Scout Labs' offices are in San Francisco but Scout Labs' users are all over the world. Our CEO and product team guide the application with insight from the world of marketing, brand management and product management, but the majority of Scout Labs employees are senior engineers with expertise in search technology, high-performance systems, natural language processing, machine learning, web crawling and data visualization.

We Believe

Your customers are talking, right now, whether you like it or not.

Tune in. Jump in.

Marketers should step out from behind the one-way mirror (customers can see you anyway).

Have a real conversation with a real customer every day.

Innovation should come from everyone.

Tune into the rants, raves and wishes of customers and great things will happen.

It's a new world of brand-building earning.

What kind of brand do your actions deserve?

Spend more time being good than trying to appear good.

Be honest, useful, and true.

Let technology do what it does best, and people do what they do best.

Together, we're a pretty good team.

Metrics are good. Insight is better.

We can both inform and inspire.

Focus on building strong relationships and great products.

In the end, it's all you really can control.
